LAMP Premier: Le Monkey - Framboise (MR PUZL Remix)

A staple in the PUZL Records discography, Le Monkey returns to the label as he revisits his debut album 'Substance Matinale' with a host of incredible remix artists. For the last couple of weeks PUZL records has been pushing out premiers for the release of an incredible 2 part remix package for Le Monkey's Debut LP Substance Matinal. Volume 2 of this catalog features a contingent of some of our favorite International based artists including the likes of Kiko, Frank Serin, Marst, a rework by Le Monkey himself and of course MR PUZL. It is our turn to premier one and we have for you today "Framboise". This is one of two remixes MR PUZL put together for the release the other being "HAM" which was a part of Volume 1. For his rendition of "Framboise", MR PUZL delivers a jazz laden tech house groover, accentuated by a punchy grand piano, and a funky saxophone that give it a classic vibe. Further elevating the track are series of arppegiated and stabbing synths which really link the song back to the original and sort of an homage to the Monkey Man and his signature use of arp laden synths and grooves!
