Happy Monday! Today we have the pleasure of premiering an amazing remix from German powerhouse Martin Waslewski. Waslewski contributed this spectacular remix of the title track for young English producer Mr. H’S forthcoming EP ‘Ruka’, out via our friends over at Carton-Pâte Records.‘Ruka (Martin Waslewski Remix)’ is an outstanding melodic tech house track that takes the original track, strips it down to its basic elements, and reorganizes them into something almost entirely different. Waslewski’s remix leads in with a deep kick and tight snares but quickly introduces his compelling melodic arpeggio. My favorite part is the breakdown as it leads into that second beat drop. That simple synth piece over the melody is prototypical Waslewski. It is unassuming and beautiful and fits perfectly. Then when that deep sustained bass note comes back in over the short piano lick I almost lost it. This track is sure to light dancefloors up across the night club and festival circuits for the next few months. Amazing track!‘Ruka’ marks Mr. H’S second EP on Carton-Pâte after last year’s successful ‘No Ordinary’ which featured remixes from label boss and regular LAMP contributor Le Monkey as well as French behemoth The White Shadow. In addition to Waslewski’s remix, ‘Ruka’ will feature remixes from Ben Böhmer, recently signed on Aka Aka, as well as another from Le Monkey. Artistically, ‘Ruka’ marks another major step forward for Mr. H’S and has already seen support from some of the biggest acts out there including Laurent Garnier.‘Ruka’ was released this morning exclusively on Beatport and is set for wider release in a couple of weeks on Monday September 25th.
