Will Clarke - The Boogie Woogie

Will Clarke conjures up a spectral dance track with supernatural synths, quirky vocal samples, and shadowy bass lines in 'The Boogie Woogie'. The track opens with a playful sine wave dance that leads into a supple bass line drop, and loops in the background with an eery effect. Clarke bombards us with a plethora of quirky stabs and pads that create a wonderfully chaotic soundscape in each passing bar. With every recurring listen to the track more detail is revealed in this exceptional production, and demonstrates Clarke's extensive knowledge in the studio. It is no surprise that this young producer found his way into the Dirtybird family. As is very apparent, the label holds its crew to an unspoken high standard, along with incredibly tough submission process. It is no surprise that it is one of the most sought after labels for underground producers worldwide. All we can say in congrats to Will Clarke in this latest achievement in his career, and we truly believe he has found the right home with the San Francisco imprint.Check out The Boogie Woogie's soulmate from the EP release on Dirtybird below:Hailing from the breeding ground of UK Bass and House, Bristol native Will Clarke has accomplished so much in such a seemingly short period of time. Early releases on labels such as Anabatic and No Brainer propelled this producer's career forward at an accelerating rate. An appearance on Dirtybird's 10 Year compilation was an early sign that Clarke was destined to join CVS and his cooky band of misfits. A steady stream of performances behind the decks as well as gigs at MOS and Space are a testament to Clarke well rounded skill set. As for his approach to production he states, "I make music for clobbers, not DJs. I sample a lot of old school rave tracks from the 90s, with 21st Century production techniques." so for his growing fan base that can only mean more dance infused vibes from his upcoming releases.Listen to more from Will Clarke below:Check this and other featured tracks from this week on our latest guest mix by Fortune 421's Brady Spear:Enjoy,MR PUZL
